Hawkins interviewed Miriam for her Coffee Hour program. (This
recording begins a few minutes into the program, while they were discussing what
event(s) in Miriam's life led her to write, and, specifically, to write
children's books. Miriam had been talking about wanting to use some of her
grandparents' stories after three of her grandparents died within a few weeks of
each other about ten years ago.) |
